2. Italy
With 47 UNESCO World Heritage sites, Italy ranks n°1 in the world. This
number represents around 5% of the World Heritage list; a mark of the
cultural and geographic richness of my country

4. Mountains
Our Alps attract skiers from all over the world and fascinate us with their
landscapes and heights.

5. ..and the Sea
We have the sea inside. From big islands such as Sicily and Sardinia, to
small archipelagos such as Elba, Ponza and Aeolian; the sea has always
had a strategic importance to Italians

6. Architecture
From Leon Battista Alberti to Bramante to Renzo Piano: Italy (and the
world) are rich in works of visionaries who know how to reconcile man
and landscape.

7. Art
From the Roman Empire to the Renaissance, the heyday of the art scene.
Art and Italy have always gone hand in hand

8. Archeology
Ever been in Rome? We are trying to build an extensive metro system
here, but we’re having some trouble…

9. Fashion
Admired, dreamed, hated, snubbed, over or underrated: whatever your
opinion is, fashion tells our times and Italy does not fear competition.

10. Ceramics
It is an art unjustly considered minor, but it has great artists, designers
and big buyers. No one has such a large choice as Italy.

11. Engines
From bikes to cars, from designers to pilots.

12. Duomo
Each city has one, and it’s honestly hard to tell which is the best. The term
derives from the Latin domus, "home".

13. Gelato
So good to be exported all over the world. From England to the US and
Japan. And do not call it ice-cream.

14. Music
Ennio Morricone: Award-winning at the last Academy Awards ceremony
where he received his second Oscar, he said that "there is no important
music without a great movie that inspires him." The best are always the
most humble.

15. Pasta
Even when Italians don’t know how to cook, they are able to prepare a
more than decent pasta dish. Lets face it: Italian cousin is the best in the
world!
