1. I Remember Home It is a place where I am safe from pain, and fear, and sorrow
2. One day, my Father stood before me and told me I would soon be leaving to embark on a journey. I asked, “ What journey? Tell me more.”
3. And so he began… “ You will be born into the world and I will surround you with people to love and care for you. They will guide you on the path that will lead you home. You will call these people your family.”
4. “ What if I am confused by this world?” I asked. “ Open your mind and I will create an opportunity for you to learn.”
5. My Father continued… “ You will grow and continue your journey meeting many new people and seeing wonderful things.”
6. “ What if I wander off the path?” I asked. “ Open your eyes and ears and I will send you a friend with words of wisdom.”
7. Still afraid, I asked “What should I do if I get lost and find myself in darkness?” “ Lift up your hands and I will give you the ability to create beauty, wherever you are.”
9. “ Open your heart . . . . . . and I will send you someone who will love you unconditionally.”
10. “ Will I find joy in this world?” I wondered. “ This you will not have to travel far for. . .
11. You will see it in the faces of children and hear it in the laughter of loved ones. you will bring joy into this world with your presence.” In fact…
12. I asked my Father, “Will I get tired on this journey?” He answered, “When your body tires, you will rest. Then open your spirit and I will give you strength.”
16. This was written through the spirit of my uncle but I believe it has a message for each of us… Travel with the faith and knowledge that our Father has laid out a path to bring us home to him…That He sent His son Jesus Christ to provide the directions, and that He walks with us each and every step of the way through the Holy Spirit. May you ‘Find the Joy in Your Journey’ and share it with your fellow travelers. I thank God for placing you on my path. Special Gratitude to all the artists& photographers who’s works have been included Music by 2002 I thank you for bringing me joy. God Bless…
