5. LETS BEGIN First, get the paper clip and bend it into a L shape with a 90 degree angle pointing up at the end Then insert the tension wrench at the lower part of the key hole opposite the side of where the key teeth go

Determine the way the key would turn by turning the wrench clockwise then counter clockwise to see which one has more give Turn the wrench the correct way to put presure on it Holding the wrench in this position, insert your paper clip in the top part of the key hole feel for the tumber pins Tip: Rake the paper clip back and forth along the tumbler pins a few times

Now start pushing up the tumblers with the paper clip Tip: start from the farthest away from you Increase the pressure each time you advance the next tumbler Note: Common house locks have 5 to 7 tumblers Finally, as soon as you feel it give or hear a slight click turn the wrench fully and open your door.
