2. O QUE É HIPÓTESES ?
Para Goode e Hart (1969, p.75)
“ É uma proposição que pode ser colocada a
prova para determinar sua validade ”
Neste sentido, hipótese é uma suposta resposta ao problema a
ser investigado. É uma proposição que se forma e que será
aceita ou rejeitada somente depois de devida demente testada.
3. QUAL PAPEL DA HIPÓTESE
NA PESQUISA
O papel fundamental da hipótese
na pesquisa é sugerir
explicações para os fatos. Essas
sugestões podem ser a
resolução para o problema.
Exemplo: Suponha que você começou a investigar a taxa de mortalidade infantil em
um bairro de baixa renda. Pois bem, o objetivo do seu estudo é saber o que
acontece naquele bairro para que ele tenha uma mortalidade tão elevada.
Hipótese 1: a mortalidade infantil tem uma relação significativa com o tipo de
alimentação da criança.
Hipótese 2: a mortalidade infantil tem uma relação significativa com a falta de
escolaridade dos pais.
Podem ser verdadeira
ou falsas, mas sempre
que bem elaboradas
conduzem a verificação
empírica, que é
propósito da pesquisa
científica.
5. CLASSIFICAÇÃO DAS HIPÓTESES
CASUÍSTICA HIPÓTESES QUE SE
REFEREM DE
ACONTECIMENTOS
São as hipóteses que
evidencia o que acontece
ocorre em determinado
caso.
Ex: esse tipo é muito
frequente nas pesquisas
históricas, em que os
fatos são dados como
único, que não se
repetem.
Esse tipo aparecem em
pesquisas descritivas sobre
tudo no âmbito da
Antropologia, Sociologia, e
Psicologia Social.
Ex: O hábito de ler romance é
muito intenso num grupo de
