1. This week the high schools were all about the track and field and there were lots for
the schools to talk about. St. Benedict are celebrating after winning there first D8
track championships since 2002.
Cameron Heights won the Waterloo County Track and Field Championship for the
third consecutive year while Huron Heights defended their title in the SR. Girls 100-
Meter Hurdles.
In Rugby The WCI Vikings will be heading to the Waterloo County Senior Boys
Rugby playoffs after an amazing 15-5 win over the Bluevale knights.
And Finally The Girls and boys playoff schedule has been set for the first two
Rounds. For girls St. Mary’s and St. David will be getting a bye in the semi finals
while St. Benedict will play Woodland and PRG will take on Resurrection on
Tuesday.
In Boys soccer Monsignor Doyle will play against woodland and ST. benedict will
play ST. David on Tuesday as well.
