3. About Hepatitis C
Hepatitis C is a viral infection that causes liver
inflammation. It can also lead to severe liver damage.
The contaminated blood spreads the virus. The latest
treatment for the condition is an oral medication and
weekly injections. Many people with Hepatitis-C virus
have to avoid these medications due to side effects
and other health problems.
This has been the case for a long time, but things
have changed. The current scenario shows that
chronic Hepatitis C virus (HCV), can be treated with
oral medications. These can be taken daily for
approximately two to six months.
Despite this, about half of HCV patients do not know
they have the disease. They don't usually experience
symptoms for many years.

Antiviral medication HCV can also be treated with
antiviral drugs that target the elimination of the virus. The
treatment should result in no HCV being detected in the
body within 1
