The Western Cape province accounts for 59.9% of the national total and 76% of new cases. A further 3 deaths were reported, bringing the national toll to 264, with the majority of deaths occurring in people aged 50-69. 460,873 tests have been conducted to date, with 21,314 in the last 24 hours. The total number of recoveries is 7,006.
