are proud to offer a variety of high
quality programs to assist the entire
family. Call 828-485-2300 ext. 6205 at
the end of your first trimester.
We have resources available on a
variety on adult health issues such as
heart disease, stroke, cancer, diabetes,
and more.
Classes are offered monthly at the
Health First Center and in around the
community upon request.

2. Who are we?
The Health First Center is an extension of
Catawba Valley Medical Center. We are your
one-stop resource center for physician
referrals, blood pressure checks, free or low-
cost classes, programs, and health screen-
ings.
Drop by and take advantage of what we have
to offer such as:

 Quarterly cholesterol screenings
**We are not an urgent care nor do we have
a clinician on-site. We work to provide you
information about various programs and how
