Consider your use of materials--what happens if
you take some of the slices and change the material
(hard to soft?, opaque to transparent?, etc)
• Manually: print out shapes from your PDF
pattern(s) , perhaps larger, and use as templates
• What happens if you skip slices and use other
forms/materials/objects as "spacers"?
• What happens if you change the scale and/or
proportions on some parts?
• What about incorporating text or other graphics?
• What happens if you create a pattern with lots of
"negative" spaces that you fill with other stuff?
(consider sound, light, smell, texture/touch,etc)?
• What happens if you make a moving part?
• What about combinations of the above?
