Hamish Bond and Eric Murray are the current World Champion men's pair rowers, having won all their major races in an unbeaten season in 2011. They broke the world record in their first heat at the 2012 London Olympics, where they went on to convincingly win gold in the men's pair event. Bond began rowing in 1998 and has enjoyed great success teaming with Murray in the coxless pair.
