A 7.0 magnitude earthquake devastated Port-au-Prince, Haiti on January 12, 2010, destroying many homes and buildings. Many people were left homeless and living in tents with hospitals lacking sufficient food and medical supplies for patients. As a result, most people fled Haiti on ships seeking help overseas.

2. Earthquake On January 12,2010 a 7.0 earthquake hit Port-au-Prince. It has ruined a lot of homes and buildings.

3. Devastation Many people have been living out side in tents, because they don’t have anywhere else to stay.

4. Medical care Hospitals don’t have enough food for the patients to eat so they can get energy. They don’t have enough supplies for those who need it.

5. Leaving Most of the people are leaving Haiti so they can get help. Ships are taking them over seas to other places.
