Guidelines for Banner Raising for
Intramurals
 Inclusivity
o Participation: Encourage participation from all team members and
supporters.
o Diversity: Ensure the event is inclusive and respectful of all participants.
 Respect and Sportsmanship
o Behavior: Maintain a respectful and sportsmanlike atmosphere throughout
the event.
o Conduct: Address any inappropriate behavior promptly and effectively.
 Community Engagement
o Involvement: Engage the broader community, inviting local residents and
other students to participate.
o Support: Foster a sense of community support and pride in the team.
• Mechanics:
 This is a team event comprising 15 members per group.
 Each grade level is given two slots (two teams) to participate in the
event in order to maximize and give equal opportunities to students.
 This is not a section-exclusive team; students are free to choose their
team members from other sections.
 If, by chance, there are grade levels exceeding the allotted slots, teams
will be chosen through the (wheelofnames) application.
 The event is divided into two brackets (Manghuds and Kuyas); the
Manghuds comprise levels 7–9, and the Kuyas comprise levels 10–12
 Each qualifying game is given four quarters (each quarter equals 5 minutes of
playing time).
 All games follow the same running time each quarter, except for the finals of
each event.
 During the finals game, there will be four quarters, and each quarter comprises
5 minutes of playing time (stop time).
 Each player of each team should have their own playing time, if there are
issues regarding teams that do not give equal chances to their team members.
The team will be DISQUALIFIED, whether they win or not.
