Due to sales increases, it incorporated in 1996 as Greenmar Philippines Inc., owned by the Koh family. Greenmar focuses on office furniture, supplying wholesalers, retailers, and end users. In recent years, under second generation Koh family management, it has ventured into contract furniture projects and office space planning. Catering to various market segments, Greenmar distributes imported brands and is the exclusive distributor of Kokuyo and first to bring in the Xten and Humanscale Freedom chair brands. 1. Greenmar Philippines Inc. (then known as Greenhills Marketing) was established in 1974 as a single proprietorship and entered
the furniture business in 1986, initially as exclusive distributor of furniture mechanisms and parts from Taiwan, and setting up our knock-
down furniture division two years later.
Prompted by considerable increases in sales and importation activities, in 1996, Greenhills Marketing was incorporated into
Greenmar Philippines Inc., still 100% owned and managed by the Koh family. Greenmar remained focused on office furniture, supplying
to the wholesalers, the retailers, and end users. In recent years, the company underwent significant expansion under the management
of the second generation Koh family, venturing into contract furniture projects for institutional clients. Our services subsequently
included office space planning and complete fit out solutions for corporate clients. Catering to the A, B, and C markets with imported
products not only from Asian countries like Taiwan, Japan, Malaysia, and China, Greenmar also fills the premium office chair niche with
well-known US and European brands. We are the exclusive distributor of the Japanese furniture brand Kokuyo, and the first in the
country to bring in one of the world's most prestigious ergonomic office chair: Xten, the "Ferrari of chairs". Greenmar is also the first
company in the Philippines to carry the US brand Humanscale, makers of the multi-awarded Freedom chair. Our product line-up includes
Greenguard-certified furniture as well, ensuring that the solutions we provide for today will not endanger the generations of tomorrow.
Marking our 40th year in the business this year, Greenmar now maintains three warehouses located in Quezon City and a
showroom, Chairlink Office Gallery, in the Makati area. Staunch in our belief in giving people value for their money, Greenmar provides
efficient spacing that helps people work more effectively by focusing on the three core elements in office furniture: function, design, and
