Our most popular bookmark! Featuring our colorful die-cut seed paper shapes that uniquely integrate with a printed and die-cut
cardstock bookmark. Flat and light, they are great for direct mail inserts, leave behinds, or quick handouts! Simply remove the seed
paper shape and plant it. Follow the directions for planting, and in a week or two wildflower sprouts will appear. The cardstock

PB2 - Large Two-Part Bookmarks (2”x 7.75”)

The PB2 offer the maximum amount of seed paper and printable surface area in one cool bookmark format. They feature a large
and colorful seed paper strip that slides into the die-cut slits in the back of the printed card-stock bookmark. Directions for planting
can be included in the design printed on the front or we can print the back of the cardstock so the directions for planting will be
revealed when the seed paper is removed. Simply remove the seed paper strip and follow the directions for growing. In a week or
two, colorful wildflowers will appear. Flat and light, they are great for direct mail inserts, leave behinds, or quick handouts!

Our most economical bookmark, these little gems pack a big punch. Featuring a colorful 1.75” seed paper square that uniquely
integrates with a printed and die-cut cardstock bookmark. When the seed paper shape is removed for planting, the directions for
growing are revealed underneath. There’s no need for second side printing, which make them a low cost, high impact alternative.
Flat and light, they are great for direct mail inserts, leave behinds, or quick handouts! Simply remove the seed paper shape and

innovative earth friendly bookmark eventually gets planted in its entirety. Flat and light, they are great for direct mail inserts, leave

18 Beautiful Seed Paper Colors
We try to keep 18 beautiful colors of wildflower seed paper in stock at all times. We stock our colors in 8.5” x 11” sheets. We can
only print on these colorful sheets with letterpress printing. Other seed mixes and sheet sizes are available. Our sheets do vary in
color a small amount from batch to batch. Some computer monitors may not display all or some colors accurately. For more
information on our white printable paper.

To give you color professionals out there a hands-on color match, we have included a list of the closest Pantone PMS
values to our seed paper colors.

Printing Information
Digital Printing

All of the printed and/or die-cut cardstock support pieces are printed on high quality digital printers in 4-color CMYK process. When
the quantities and artwork call for it, these support pieces can be offset printed to include your specific PMS colors

Inkjet Printing

The preferred method for printing on our seed paper employs a proprietary inkjet system that we have developed and refined over
the years. By "spraying" the ink down onto the seed paper, we achieve the highest print quality and preserve our high germination
standards. When printing on the seed paper in this manner, we do require artwork with light ink coverage (no heavy solids,
background colors, etc.). Although your artwork can include full color graphics, logos, and text we need the artwork to be mostly
white space. In general, we recommend 20% maximum coverage. When in doubt, send your artwork to us first for approval or
guidance. Often a few little changes can make a big difference.

SECOND SIDE INKJET PRINTING - Because of the handmade nature of our seed paper, it is difficult to have perfect registration
from front to back. Typically, minor adjustments to the artwork can make the registration shortcoming less noticeable.

Offset Printing

In addition to printing our support materials with offset printers, we can print seed paper using this method when no other methods
allow. Offset printing on the seed paper greatly reduces the germination rates of the seeds. We have lab tested the paper and it is
undeniable that the heavy pressure of the press crushes many of the seeds and renders them sterile. We prefer to only produce
printed seed paper promos that meet our high germination standards. However, if large quantity, quick turnaround jobs necessitate
the use of offset printing, and germination rates are not so important to the client, then we may consider it as a last resort. We will
always disclose to the client the harmful effects offset printing has to the seeds and let the customer decide.

Letterpress Printing

Green in Theory owns and operates several vintage letterpress machines that can give your project an old world nostalgic debossed
look. They are typically printed in one or two colors, one sheet at a time. Letterpress printing offers a stamped look and feel that is
much less detail oriented than offset or inkjet printing. It does reiterate the handcrafted look and feel and does not significantly
decrease the germination rates. Letterpress printing can also accommodate your requests for specific seeds that might be larger
than what we like to print on our ink jet system (tree, herb, vegetables, etc.)

More Info on White, Printable Paper

In addition to our white 8.5" x 11" or 12" x 18" sheets that are 100% postconsumer, recycled paper, we also offer larger sheets of
off-white paper that are more suitable for printing. They are made from recycled fiber and achieve a more consistent look and feel
that works best with our proprietary printing technology. These sheets are available in 13.25" x 17.95" sheets.

Email Art

• Templates are available and recommended. They are generally in a pdf. Format that is editable in Adobe Illustrator.

• We prefer Adobe Illustrator files. All artwork will be imported into Adobe Illustrator templates to print and die-cut.

• On most items we allow bleeds, but not all, so please ask. If there is a bleed, please build it into your artwork 1/8" beyond edges.

• Please keep all artwork away from die lines at least 3/16" to allow for bounce in printing and die-cutting.

• Proofs are generally sent via e-mail in a pdf. format. We recommend that you not only proof them on your screen in Adobe Reader,
but also print them at 100%.

We prefer Illustrator files saved as an EPS (be sure to outline or include all fonts). Once we receive your files, we can fax or email
you an electronic PDF proof. Imprint area—please allow 1/4" margin from edges of product. For artwork with a bleed, please allow
3/16" from edge of border. Emailed templates available upon request.

Additional services: Second side printing: On printed seeded paper add 30% (A). On printed card stock add 20% (A). With
larger quantities please call for a quote as printing costs depend on artwork. Envelope printing - $ .20 per envelope (A). All products
will be printed on a coated white card stock unless otherwise stated. Earthy, uncoated paper is also available.

Seed mix: Our paper is packed with seeds! The more seeds the more flowers. Typically we include a hearty mix of annual and
perennial wildflower seeds that are sure to grow across all growing regions (just follow the directions for planting). Custom mixes are
also available including forget-me-not, petunia, zinnia, marigold, blue spruce, Kentucky blue grass, herbs, peppers, vegetables and
others. Subject to possible up charges and minimums.

Stock paper colors: We offer bright and bold seed paper in Cranberry red, terra cotta, white, yellow, burgundy, forest green,
teal, blue, and violet. (See below) When printing directly on our seed paper, we recommend white seed paper. Custom colors are
available but subject to minimum quantity requirements.

Set Up charges: Standard set up per printed side is $35 (G). Custom die shapes are available, call for die making quotes.
Pre-production samples are also available for $40 plus the standard set up fee.

Turnaround times: Our turnaround time is fast, generally within 10 working days from receipt of approved artwork. Rush
service is available but subject to surcharge and express shipping costs.
