Gracie and Lane are gator siblings who live in a swamp. Gracie likes to flirt with Lane, who has fallen in love with her. The two gators swim through the swamp together each day looking for food to eat. Lane lets Gracie eat from the piles of food with more items on the left side, and Gracie lets Lane eat from larger piles on the right side, showing their consideration for each other. One day they find two piles of hamburgers left by picnic goers - Gracie eats from the larger left pile, then Lane eats from the larger right pile. Full from their meal, they return home to rest.

2. Once upon a time in a swamp far, far away, lived

3. Gracie & Lane Gator.

4. Gracie was such a silly, gator that liked the boys! She would bat her long eyelashes at Lane and blow him kisses!

5. Well that made Lane fall in LOVE with her!

6. Every day, Gracie and Lane would swim through the swamp together and look for things to eat .

7. Lane was a gentleman. He knew that Gracie only liked to eat things that were on the left side of the swamp. So, when the most food was on the left, he let her have it.

8. Greta thought Lester was so nice, and she didn’t want to be a greedy gator. So when the most food was on the right side of the swamp, she let Lane have it.

9. One day, they found some food. It looked like a whole family had been on a picnic and forgot to pick up their food!

10. They swam over to the first blanket of food.

11. 10 4 On the left side, there was a stack of 10 hamburgers. On the right side, there was a stack 4 hamburgers. Since the greater amount of food is on the left , Gracie ate the food!

12. 10 > 4 10 is greater than 4

13. Then they swam over to the second blanket of food.

14. 3 7 On the left side, there was a stack of 3 hamburgers. On the right side, there was a stack of 7 hamburgers. Since the greater amount of food is on the right , Lane ate the food!

15. 3 < 7 3 is less than 7

16. Gracie and Lane were so full after eating all of that food, they swam home and took a nap! THE END
