2. About Us Our Goals
Spaceport America Concept Art
FThe idea behind the creation of the first space-
port hotel was inspired by the construction of
Spaceport America in southern New Mexico.
History has proven that space travel can be both
stressful and dangerous. With this fact in mind,
the crew and staff of Spaceport America will be in
need of a facility that can provide rest and
recreation until the next test flight. Thus E2
Hotel & Restaurant was approved to begin
construction in May 2011.
The “E2” which is a part of our logo represents
the existence of Epsilon Eridani, a nearby solar
system ten light years away from our own, and
some of its planets are believed to be habitable.
Though part of our hotel is still under construc-
tion, we are now expanding to accomadate the
general public once Spaceport America becomes
fully operational!
FAs Spaceport America works together with
Virgin Galactic to complete contruction by 2013
and become the worlds’ first fully-functional
spaceport, E2 Hotel & Restaurant aims to share
the same professional services with the general
public.
After a long space flight, who wouldn’t want to
have a hotel nearby where people can relax, eat,
and sleep before continuing on toward their
intended earth-bound destination the next day?
