A young man is wrongly imprisoned for a crime he did not commit. In despair, he cries out to God questioning why this injustice has happened to him. Through singing a song to God, the man reaffirms his faith that God's power cannot be doubted, even in darkness. Years later, the man rises to become the Prime Minister, known as Joseph, who was faithful to God even in his time of suffering.
