2. My physical, instinctual, emotional and intellectual
realms constitutionally cause lot of contradictions in
life, which lead to conflicts in my mind. Even as I
keep discussing, reading and experimenting the
conflicts; instead of getting resolved, get multiplied
and deepened.
Fears of dejection, humiliation, defamation, loss of
the loved ones, illness, death and old age seem make
me miserable even as I try to think and act globally
and holistically.
I keep on vacillating between physical pleasures and
renunciation, atheism and theism, violence and
nonviolence, glamour and austerity, regionalism and
internationalism, fear and bravery, followership and
leadership and so on!
Gita like a mother nurtures all my faculties towards
individual and global blossoming. She takes me to the
3. realm of eternal life on which individual deaths and
births are contingents!
Through the arguments tearing off subjective
paradigms, including those of life and death, She
teaches me the steps to transcend from my limited
physical existence to my cosmic reality, see my
cosmic and unfathomable nature and since it is
difficult to remain focused on it, teaches me to design
and perform my activities towards realization of my
cosmic reality.
This process viz. SWADHARMA is infinitesimal in
its dimensions, beyond human logic and indescribable
in terms of its results. Hence She suggests me that I
do not expect results!
Gita depicts simultaneously the process of ascent and
decent of cosmic and individual consciousness, from
time to time and resolves the conflicts by guiding me
on my way to realizing cosmic reality.
4. In as much as She describes many ways, the most
important one She states is that of connecting myself
with cosmic consciousness called YOGA. It is said by
most saints and prophets of most religions and
regions; that NAMASMARAN (called differently) is
the most suitable way (for any body in the world) for
such connecting!
