Gilberto Montes is the soccer coach at Franklin High School. Under his leadership, the team won area championships in 2000, 2006, and 2007 as well as bi-district and district championships in several years. Roberto Rivera, a graduate of Cathedral High School, serves as an assistant coach. The soccer team has grown and changed over the years, winning multiple championships.
