India’s overall exports (Merchandise and Services combined) in April-
March 2018-19* are estimated to be $535.45Bn, exhibiting a positive
growth of 7.97% over the same period last year. Exports in March 2019
were $32.55Bn as compared to $29.32Bn in March 2018, exhibiting a
positive growth of 11.02%. In Rupee terms, exports were Rs.
2,26,138.76Crore in March 2019, as compared to Rs. 190,619.25Crore in
March 2018, registering a positive growth of 18.63%. Cumulative value of
exports for the period April-March 2018-19 was $331.02Bn
(Rs.23,14,429.08Crore) as against $303.53Bn (Rs.19,56,514.53Crore) during
the period April-March 2017-18, registering a positive growth of 9.06% in
Dollar terms (18.29per cent in Rupee terms).
India's 5 largest trading partners were United States ($88bn), China ($87bn),
UAE ($60bn), Saudi Arabia ($34bn) and Hong Kong ($31bn) in 2018-19.
