Food on the Corner Society invites volunteers to serve the homeless in Vancouver, meeting on Saturdays at 9:30 AM in Tsawwassen to prepare and distribute food. The service, which occurs at 11 AM for about 200 individuals, includes various roles such as serving, singing, and distributing clothing. Leftover food is donated to local shelters, and the organization also hosts community events throughout the year.

2. We meet at the truck parked behind Thrifty’s in Tsawwassen at 9:30am Saturdays to pick up volunteers & supplies

3. the truck is loaded and ready to go

4. we drive downtown and meet other volunteers at 222 Main Street in Vancouver where the service begins at 11am

5. for about 200 men & women

6. on the Corner

7. about six to eight people serve at the tables

8. while some serve soup others sing or hand out clothing or pour refreshments (lower left corner)

10. Any food left over we take to various downtown shelters like * The Dugout for men * Bridge House for Women * The Womens Centre * Triage Emergency Services & Care Society
