If you are seeking for some Football Manager 2010 tips and hints then I advise

You should probably remember from the post First Premier League season came Pre-order FM 2011
to the end that David Prieto (my DC) became the best Leeds scorer with 8
Most Popular goals. Today I would like to tell how I achieved that amount of goals from
Facepack (55000+) corners in Football Manager 2010. It was a result of many experiments during

Football Manager 2011 the first two seasons. And I have to confess it was quite complicated to find
efficient way to score goals from corners. I tested many cases and found one at

I rotate different defenders at this position in my Leeds. Still didn’t found the
FM 2009 Story optimal one for it.

Hull
Attack Far Post

FM 2008 Stories Here I use Andy Carroll or Marius Niculae here. They both perform as left-
central forwards with Target Man role. They are really able to score using head
Arsenal
and it happens sometimes. I think strong attacking forward is the best at this
Southampton corner position if pass goes to the far post.
Wigan
Lurk Outside Area

Do you see player #7 on my screen? He has ‘Lurk Outside Area’ setting. He is
best in Long Shots in my team. Well, you understand everything yourself. The
only problem such kind of situation when opponent’s player didn’t mark him
happens not often. But sometimes opponent team forgets about him and then
long shot goal may be scored. It depends much on players technique, Long
Shots attribute and ‘Shoot with Power’, ‘Shoots from Distance’ preferred moves.

Great in-depth instructions, Keep these things up, even though we don't
have to use them it certainly makes you think about altering the
settings. I will certainly try to find my way of handling corner situations
from now on.

hmmm... my theory was to put worst header of the ball on 'Challenge
keeper' because he is the lest likely to get the ball to his head... but I
see your point. And, what instruction is given to the #20 in the
screenshot?

Just tryed this with my notts county team worked really well scored 1
and gained a penalty with this tactic nice work mate thanks.
Also i dont know if anyone else is playing a game with notts county but
its quite enjoyable, currently in seventh season(4th in prem) did the
double last year and just had my stadium extended to 34000, id like to
hear off anyone whos playin a game with county jus to compare, this is
my current team:

GK: Consigli/Begovic

DC: Spence/Addison
DC: Nordveit/Leo
DR: Raul/Behrami
DL: Monzon/Helan

MC: Rodwell/Kabore
MC: Shelvey/Schneiderlin
MR: Wilshere/Behrami

Notably i had helan and kakuta in league 2 both have excellent potential

To Back And Then Got Up Via The Play Offs In The Championship I'm
Currently In My 3rd Prem (Finished: 12th In 1st Prem Season Then 8th)
Season And This Is My Team...

Have just installed patch 10.3. We will see how my corners scheme
works on it

I use 3D engine. But 2D pitch screen shot is more understandable when
it's needed to explain some tactical player locations

thank you vitaliy, these look pretty helpful. One thing, I think you should
let David Prieto as the 'Stand on Far Post' because for a defender to
score 8 goals all from headers is really good. So he should not be too
dissapointing. Still Hangeland is ggod. Maybe Hangelang 'Attack Near
Post'

Nice team you should challenge for the title most definatly, you have a
really strong spine to your team with akinfeev, otamendi and defour i
had them on a previous game with birmingham they were key players for
me when i won everything. My progress has been similar to yours to b
honest m8 three consecutive promotions all as champions, then 8th, 6th
and last season ended up champions on last day of the season. Iv feel iv
been lucky though the english teams dont tend to spend much money
and havent really progressed as i thought they would, have you found
this? By the way has your stadium been extended yet?

Man City Have Bought Quite A Few Players Including Gatagov, Robben
And Higuain So They're Quite Hard To Beat.
Chelsea Have Bought Some Good Players And West Brom Have Milevskyi
So Thats Probably Why They're In 3rd After 16 Games. Lol

Our Stadium Is A 32000 All Seater After A Few Extensions And We Have
Undersoil Heating And Top Training And Excellent Youth Facilities. What
Are Yours Like?

Also, Your Strikers Are Really Good1 How Did You Manage To Get Pato?

Vitaliy, it's a fairly similar to a corner kick setup I'd worked out, but you
seem to be having a little more success than I've had, but it might be to
do with my corner kickers. The player challenging the keeper seems to
be extremely important to causing problems. Having a player or two run
from deep can cause panic too.

Sorry made a mistake my stadium is also 32000 cant be extended
anymore bit of a bummer, but yes the facilities are the same as yours
also. With regards to pato i had to part with 50m including clauses a bit
of a risk but it seems to be paying off, started off like a house on fire has
slowed down a bit now but still great. He has scored 14 in 17 in all
competitions and always has a blinder in the big games scoring a couple
of goals against both man city and chelsea. I was suprised i managed to
get him to be honest it was only due to milan finishing 12th, bit of a
shock. A great striker if your after one would be hulk got 40 goals for me
a season in my birmingham game, immense. justa question how has
jordan spence progressed on your game currently he is amazing on mine
20 for tackling,marking and strength.

Heading But He's Only Got 10 Concentration And 10 Composure!

including the one taking the corner... is just 1 that is left in the defense

1. Go to Tactics screen
2. Select one player
3. Click on Advanced button and you will see many individual instructions
for selected player
