A Data Transmission Technique Based On RSSI in an Ad-Hoc Network
1) The document proposes an intelligent routing protocol for transmitting data between nodes in an ad-hoc network using Bluetooth.
2) The protocol routes packets either through predefined static paths if the packet size is below 1024 bytes, or dynamically determines the path at runtime based on signal strength if the packet size exceeds 1024 bytes.
3) To determine distance between nodes for dynamic routing, the protocol measures response times from nearby nodes when transmitting a fixed packet and calculates received signal strength indicator (RSSI) values based on response times. The nearest node is then selected to forward packets along the dynamically determined path.
