Richard Warren and his Tibbs Choice team won the first race of the Fantasy Formula One season in Bahrain, scoring 387 points. Rich Clark and his The Flying Orange team came in second with 383 points, along with rookie Hans Van De Ven and his HabVen_1 team. There was a six-way tie for fifth place between six teams that all scored 378 points. Ady Twigg's defending champion team You Never Know finished last, scoring just 116 points. The newsletter provided the race results and league table from Bahrain and announced there will be 81 teams competing in total this season, with cash prizes for the top three finishers.

What a start to the season, Max's Red Bull
had the advantage all weekend but slick
tactics by the Mercedes team got Lewis in
front meaning Max had to pass him on the
track ....emphasis "on the track". Max did
get by but by exceeding the track limits and
had to hand the position back to Lewis,
personally (and I bet Lewis would have) I
would have kept the position and tried to
get a 5 second gap to negate the penalty,
but hey what do I know....
Let's hope for more of that this season....
In FF1 it was first win of the season for last
season's third place Richard Warren and
his Tibbs Choice team on 387 points, a
good start to the season Richard.
In second it's last year's winner Rich Clark
and his The Flying Orange team as well as

winners on 383 points.
In fourth it's Vicky Wilson and her Victory V
on 379 points.
There was a six way tie for fifth place
between David Lee's PPP, Richard Warren's
(again) Wizards and Wombats, Lewis
Whiting's Whitings Flyers, Andrew
Shepherd's Final Fantasy XI, Ady Twigg's
Ady Angels and Lindsay Brown's LAB 1, all
the teams have the same team and will be
collectively known as the Alpha Tauri Six ,
the Alpha Tauri Six all scored 378 points.
Now who's that down at the bottom....
could it really be Mr Ady Twigg, oh dear
the double champions team You Never
Know limped in last with a score of just 116
points. Now he's torn, a team at the
bottom and at the top, he's going to have
to stay interested for a little longer....
