Students will learn how to design basic and complex 3D objects like a bionic glove using CAD programs like SolidWorks, Inventor, and AutoCAD over the course of a week in June. They will then print their electronic designs on a 3D printer while working individually at computer terminals to learn powerful software tools. The course is coordinated by Dr. Hari Kalva and will take place during the second week of June.

1. Learn How to Design and Build 3D Printed Objects
Students will learn how to design several 3D objects including simple shapes and
something complex like a Bionic Glove using a Computer Aided Design (CAD)
program. The electronic design will then be created by students using a 3D printer.
Each student will work at their own computer terminal and learn powerful software
tools including SolidWorks, Inventor, and AutoCAD.
