Meet Apparel Designer - Nina McLemore
Wednesday, October 22
After a successful career at Liz Claiborne, Inc. and a
stint in private equity, Nina McLemore founded her
own label in 2001 featuring tailored clothes in richly
woven fabrics. Nina will speak on the topic of
"Executive Presence" and how to create a first and
lasting impression. Enjoy a display of her most
popular pieces, which will be available for sale. 10%
of all sales will benefit the NYJL's charitable
activities.

Thursday, November 13
A fascinating insight into high society's ultimate rite
of passage – the Debutante Ball – as it merges with
the world of high fashion. Debutantes, by author

gorgeous photography from high-society and fashion
documenters such as Cecil Beaton, Toni Frissell,
and Slim Aarons.

Compagnie Générale Transatlantique.
Maureen Crilly, an interior designer
and Adj. Asst. Professor of Interior
Design History at the Fashion Institute
of Technology/School of Design, will
speak about the introduction of Art
Deco design to New York through the
luxe design and world of celebrity of
the infamous ocean liner.
