With no national car industry present in the Netherlands, there is a lot happening within in the public domain of e-mobility and sustainable energy solutions. Open innovation grounds, high acceptance for innovative technology and a general liberal thinking, national and local policy are making this a dynamic and open market for experimenting, learning and improving. As pollution in emission and noice are less accepted in cities like Amsterdam, Utrecht and Rotterdam there is an increasing demand for measures to be taken.
