During the test, the impact force of 25kN (a 5 kg test weight falling from a height of 1 m)
has to be dampened to an average residual force of 18 kN. With a residual force value of
9,75 kN, EVOC LITESHIELD BACK PROTECTORS reach a damping effect that is almost
twice as high as required!
A typical impact-absorption curve of a crash is relatively peaked. This means that
the residual force is transferred to the body very directly. The segmented layer
design of the LITESHIELD BACK PROTECTOR provides ideal damping properties:
