is an award-winning learning concept
on entrepreneurship, economy and society.
It is meant for sixth-grade pupils.
The Me & MyCity learning environment is a miniature town, operating in
several locations around Finland. There is one in Turku.
The concept brings together pupils and teachers, university students,
companies and local authorities to foster young people’s employability skills.
During the study module, the pupils start to understand their own role
as a part of the community and gain information about economy and different
actors in the society.
Me & MyCity concept has raised a lot of interest in
different parts of the world.
School peace is declared in six languages at
the beginning of the school year.
We are all different,
we don’t look the same.
Differences will disappear
when you’re looking for a friend.
Young people, join together.
Let’s leave nobody alone.
Togetherness is spreading.
It’s important to have friends.
Tolerant school year to everybody!
