they do not know what they do

church Sunday after Sunday?
• TO SPARE TIME FOR GOD FOR WORSHIP.
• “Time is your most precious gift,, You can make more
money, but you can't make more time. When you give
someone your time, you are giving them a portion of
your life that you'll never get back.

my life to each one by giving you my time.
And thank God, because you give the
portion of your life to me as well, by

me to pursue and continue in the

giving our time to Him.
Say to your seatmate, thank you for
giving me your time, your life is a

time for you!

• As a members!
• B; but be aware that we can’t please everyone.
Even though how good we are. But do not loose
hope, God is happy when we do our best to
please Him rather than to please anyone.
9. • My goal today, is to give you a
biblical tips from the writing of
the wise king in the human

our fellow believers!
10. I. Guard your steps
•V 1 "Guard your steps
when you go to the house
of God"
11. Whatever steps we make, it can
affect our entire life, either good
or bad.
God make His best so that, the
results of our steps is good.
He does it, through a warning.
(guard your steps)
12. Illustration
• There was a story told me, one of my Ninong about
the life of a priest. One day this priest went to town.
When he reached at the town he ordered a whisky.
He drink that whisky and got drunk. This priest went
back days after days to that town. One day, one of
the church goers saw him drinking a whisky. This
church goer go closer to the priest and said, ‘’father
is it biblically allowed that the priest will drink a
whisky? The priest was astonished not expecting
that some one will question him. This priest look on
that man and said ‘’come sit beside me son, before I
leave my home I made 15 rosary, asking forgiveness
of what I will do today. When I go home after this,..
he continued, ‘’I will add another 15 rosary for you.
13. • what do you think the mistake of that priest?
• A; defend his self even though he knew that
his action is sin.
• B; he is not aware of his action. He is not
concern with others.
• Today, everyone is encourage that we should
guard our steps.
14. The priest steps
• Was pass to the church goer.
• It creates a bad influence.
• I believe that it will pass to another and
creates a bad influence not only to one person
but to many.
• Again God is reminding us today, ‘’guard your
steps’’.
15. II; Go to the house of
God
•V 1 "Guard your steps
when you go to the
house of God"
16. Lessons
• A; GOD IS CONCERN WHERE WE SPENT OUR
SABBATH DAY.
• On the time of Christ church were always full.
Church is crowded everyday. People came to
church not to worship God, instead to do
business. Majority of this people choose
money more than the message of Christ.
Jesus got angry and drove the tables of the
sellers inside the church.
17. Let us Compare our worship
to an angels
Man
• Ones a week
• Few (counted)
• Un prepared sometimes
• Half day (4 hours
maximum)
Angels
• Everyday
• Legions (countless)
• Quality (practice many
times)
• Whole day
Yet God longs for your worship!
18. III; Drew near
• Walk prudently (care fully)
when you go to the house of
God; and drew near to hear
rather than to give the
sacrifice of fools, for they do
not know what they do evil.
19. In the airplane, the flight attendants give an
instructions before the plane takes flights.
explaining, how to use the seat belt.
where the exits are.
how to use the suit as a flotation device,
how to put on the oxygen mask if needed.
Yet most of the people on the plane are
talking, reading, looking out the window, getting
stuff out of their carry-on luggage.
20. The New Living Translation says, "As you enter
the house of God, keep your ears open and your
mouth shut"
Think about it:
When we come to worship, we have come to
meet with God.
When we come to worship, we have come to
listen on God for instruction.
• We can do this, by letting our ears open and
close our mouth
21. Illustration
• I once saw a church sign that advertised one
of its worship services with a statement that
read: "Casual Worship 9:30 AM.
• " I know that they were trying to
communicate that their worship service was
casual dress and informal.
22. • FOR ME, THE WORD ‘’DRAW NEAR’’ HAS
TWO MEANING!
• A; literally- God encourage us to sit on the
chairs that we are comfortable. We are
Baptist not backtist.
• B; spiritually- God encourage us to make
sure that our heart is ready and away from
any destruction and worries when we
come to worship him.
23. Conclusion
• Worship is not an endurance contest, but a
marvelous adventure into the presence of the
God of the universe. It is not business as
usual, but a wonder-filled ride into a new
dimension of life. It is not a mundane trip, but
a memorable flight. And on that journey our
reaction will not be simply, "nice service" or
"nice trip," but rather in the words of a child
who has flown for the first time, "Awesome."
