To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing to enthusiastically recortmend Elizabeth Gouin.
Since December 2Ol4,I have served as the chair of the North Prospect-Lincoln-sunset
Local Historic District Study Committee, a seven member committee comprised of
historians, academics, architects, attomeys and town residents. During that time,
Elizabeth has been employed as a consultant in our effort to secure crucial state
designations to preserve and protect over two hundred historic properties. Elizabeth's
responsibilities have included archival research, digitally filling out inventory forms and
spreadsheets, writing architectural descriptions as well as historical narratives of
properties and photographing them. In short, everything we could possibly throw her
way. without exception, Elizabeth's work has been exemplary, exceeded only by her
patience, good humor and can-do attitude. As I have constantly told her, she has been a
godsend. our preliminary study report - over 600 pages long -- has recently been
endorsed by the Massachusetts Historical Commission and will be coming before
Amherst Town Meeting for a vote in Spring 2017. None of this would have happened
without Elizabeth's involvement. I can't recommend her highly enough.
Please don't hesitate to contact me for further information. Thank you for your time and
consideration.
Sincerely.
