Elizabeth Cady Stanton


                      Introduction
My famous female report is on Elizabeth Cady Stanton. Elizabeth was
born on November 12, 1815 in Johnstown, New York. Elizabeth died
October 26, 1902. Elizabeth married an abolitionist (Henry Brewster
Stanton). Elizabeth had two sisters and three brothers. Two of her
brothers died when she was even born. Her other brother died when he
was in college, he was only eleven years old.
                      Childhood
 Elizabeth had an interesting childhood. Her parent’s names were Daniel
Cady and Margaret Livingston. Her father said, “I wish you were a boy”.
Elizabeth responded “I will try to be everything my brother was”.
Elizabeth knew to be everything her brother was with some serious
adjustments in women’s rights would be necessary. Her mother had one
job, which was watch the kids.
                      Education
Elizabeth had a wonderful education. Elizabeth went to Johnstown
academy. Elizabeth studied math, religion, Latin, Greek, Science,
French, and Writing. She didn’t go to college. Elizabeth was an
American writer. In addition, she fought for women’s rights. Elizabeth
also studied Troy Female Seminary. Elizabeth won many awards and
honors.
                 How did this person changed our World?           Can
we see the affect today?
Elizabeth change our world and yes we can see the affect today.
Elizabeth fought for women’s suffrage or women’s rights. She didn’t
think it was fair that women got treated with the rights as slaves. She
believed rights should be equal.
