Gwen Barber is running for City Council in Ward 3. She has over 22 years of experience in finance and customer service roles, including 12 years as a Financial Manager and Vice President and the last 10 years as a Financial Specialist for the state of Alabama. She believes her financial background gives her the ability to address the concerns of city residents. She is running because she enjoys the challenge and opportunity to help the city where she grew up.

Why should you vote for me?
I feel my main qualification for Ward 3 is my experience to
serve the residents of the city of Lincoln. During my years as
Financial Manager & Vice President with a large company in
Miami, Fl (12 yrs) and the last 10 yrs as Financial Specialist
with a State of Al (AIDT) where I concentrated in finance and
customer service, creating budgets and maintaining them. I
believe that gives me an ability to address the concerns of
the residents of the city.
Why am I running for the city council?
I am running because I enjoy the challenge, the chance to
help the city where I grew up.
