Ergonomics can be defined as,-

that applies theory, principles, methods and data to design in order to
optimize human well-being and overall system performance”

knowledge about physical abilities and limitations as well as other
human characteristics relevant to job design

Ergonomics can be defined as the study of workplace design; the study
of how a workplace and the equipment used there can best be
designed for comfort, efficiency, safety, and productivity.
