Southern NH Montessori Academy is expanding their program to include preschool for 3 and 4 year olds beginning in the fall. They currently offer kindergarten and grades 1-3, and plan to expand to grades 4-6 and middle school. The director expressed that they received many inquiries requesting early childhood programs to meet the growing learning needs of young children. At SNHMA, children learn at their own pace through hands-on activities that engage all the senses. The school focuses on social, emotional, and physical development as well as academic growth. They are scheduling school tours and education screenings throughout August.

MONTESSORI ACADEMY ANNOUNCES FIRST WAIVE OF EXPANSION
Preschool Program Added this Fall
LONDONDERRY, NH – Just one year since coming to Londonderry last fall, Southern NH Montessori
Academy (SNHMA) announces the first wave of their expansion plans. Beginning this fall, they add
Preschool for children ages three (3) and four (4) to their programs. SNHMA currently offers
kindergarten and lower elementary (grades 1- 3) with plans to add upper elementary (grades 4-6) and
middle school to meet the needs of their student base.
Debra Hogan, SNHMA Founder and Director, expressed, “We received numerous inquiries throughout
the school year requesting that we expand our programs to include Early Childhood (preschool for three
and four year olds). Many are looking for an environment tailored specifically to meet their childʼs
growing learning appetite. Our highly individualized environment is a perfect match for these for
emerging learners”.
At SNHMA, children learn at their own pace, never constricted nor inhibited by the pace of their peers.
Children's learning is guided through hands on and experiential activities, engaging all of their senses
to aid them in acquiring and retaining skill and knowledge.
Focus is given to all aspects of the child's development, not exclusively their academic growth.
Shepherding their social, emotional and physical growth as well, is a priority. SNHMAʼs mission is to
guide their students in their development of life skills, like: independence, confidence, conflict
resolution, creativity, and compassion.
Throughout early August, SNHMA is scheduling appointments for school tours and complimentary
education development screenings. While space is limited, a few openings remain. Regardless of your
child's age, it's not too early to visit us. In addition to our current school enrollment, we have many
families that have asked for us to reserve placement for them for 2011. You are encouraged to
schedule a visit, tour our facility, meet our staff, and learn about our programs and growth plans.
Southern NH Montessori Academy offers an academically focused education to children from age three
(3) through nine (9) through an integrated curriculum. Concentration is given to educating the “whole
child” (all facets of the child's being, including: intellectual, physical, emotional, social and creative
aspects) with a strong emphasis of hands-on and experiential learning where children develop their
passion in technology, science, visual and performing arts, foreign language and physical education.
