‘Dyme Lyfe’ Party Draws Numerous Broncos

DENVER – The Denver Broncos spent their Sunday afternoon
beating the tar out of the Kansas City Chiefs 38-3 to lock up the top
seed in the AFC and home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
On Sunday night, the Broncos beat up the dance floor and
celebrated.
At least 23 Broncos players showed up to the new logo release party
on Sunday night for Broncos linebacker D.J. Williams’ ‘dyme lyfe’
clothing line, celebrating not only a bye week, but supporting a
teammate whose clothing line has taken off in the past year.
“I kind of was around when it started (in 2010), before he decided to
go this far with it,” Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey told Mile High
Sports at the party at Denver’s Jet Hotel on Sunday night. “(D.J.)’s a good friend of mine, and he wanted to go
this route with it and I supported him all the way because I know how passionate he is
about it.”
Amongst the Broncos in attendance were
Bailey, Von Miller, Demaryius Thomas,
Knowshon Moreno and Wesley
Woodyard. The Broncos have increasingly
worn dyme lyfe apparel this season, often
a frequent staple in the locker room after
practices and games. The dyme lyfe
slogan is meant to represent positive
living and enjoying life to the fullest, a
theme that Williams believes has
garnered the attention of his teammates.

“I think it originally caught on because it
had a catchy name, but once people found out the foundation and what it was really
about, that’s what motivated people to be a part of the ‘dyme lyfe,’” Williams told Mile
High Sports on Sunday.So wait, D.J., can you, in your own words, explain ‘dyme lyfe’,
again?
“‘Dyme Lyfe’ is just enjoying life, treating yourself to the finer things and doing the
same for people that you’re close to,” Williams said. “And just pushing and putting
positive vibes towards others to be themselves and just enjoy life.”
A 13-3 record and the top seed in the AFC certainly has the Broncos doing just that.
And they showed their support for Williams and their aspiring playoff hopes on Sunday
night.
