The word of the Commissioner,
A reminder of the highlights of the Philately at LAMBESC is needed to understand why in this 02 Novem-
ber 2013, we organize once again price INTERNATIONAL MASSARI, the 20th of the name:
1988 - 1st departmental exhibition under the auspices of the founding President GILBERT REVEILLET.
1990 - 1st provincial exhibition, with the Red wire MADAME de SÉVIGNÉ.
1993 - Apotheosis, with the release of the stamp of Lambesc, immortalizing if necessary was the Jaber.
We had this day there the highest instances of Philately, and, for a small village having this honour among
the other 36000 communes, we were very proud... Only 2500 cities or villages have this honour.
Thanks to fire the Mayor of then GILBERT PAURIOL.
1996-40th
Regional Congress in our village, it was the recognition by our fathers of know-how in the Organ-
ization of such an event.
1999-14th
price MASSARI, a total success crowned by a sight on the swimming pool and none will forget.
This was for our section (we were a section of the MJC) a huge achievement
successful there too, by recognition of LA POSTE, which outgoing CHOPIN stamp (for the anniversary of
his birth), we attributed the output at the same time as PARIS, WARSAW...
Since 1999, other events punctuated the life of our Association as:
2002-Congress Regional and NATIONAL MECAPHIL;
2006 - Exhibition multi-collections;
2007 Exhibition Inter departmental;
2009 - Participation in the commemoration of the earthquake from 1909 and the 600th anniversary of the
birth of RENÉ ROY.
2009.10.11 Challenge MARCEL PONCE;
That is why our friends Italians (Mr Valériano and Mr Morolli) agreement so that we find ourselves here so
far for the 20th
price INTERNATIONAL MASSARI.
We are pleased to welcome you to introduce you to stunning collections of stamps, postcards, paintings;
stamps have been issued by our association, postcards on the three composers VERDI-WAGNER and

REGLEMENT XXème CHALLENGE MASSARI
LAMBESC 2013
Article l
The “Augusto Massari” International Award for Musical Philately will be held in LAMBESC on the occasion of the
philatelic and numismatic exhibition “XXème Challenge MASSARI”.
On the second and third November 2013 in C-O-S-E- C of LAMBESC.
Article2
The “Augusto Massari” award, organized by “P-J-C”(Philatélie-Jacquemard-Collections) is governed by the general
rules and Regulations issued by the C.I.F.T. (Italian Centre for Philatelic Themes) and is under sponsorship of the
Federation of Italian Philatelic Societies, FIP (Fédération Internationale de Philatélie), FFAP(Fédération Française
des Associations Philatéliques ), AFPT (Association de Philatélie thématique) et la Municipalité de LAMBESC.
Article 3
The “Augusto Massari” award is a competitive exhibition governed by the General Rules and Regulations of the
Philatelic Exhibitions. This exhibition is open to all the collections of adult philatelists which correspond to the
thematic classiﬁcations and which can be included in the theme “Music” at any level, in the followings four
classes:
a) Exhibition Class
b) Classe un cadre
c) Literature Class.
d) Maximum card collection
e) Non-competitive class
f) Postcard class
g) Open class
Article 4
Collectors must forward a request for participation, written legibly and signed by the applicant to:

No later than Tuesday tenth September 2013 .
Article 5
Each participating collection must be the exclusive property of the person requesting for participation.
Article 6
The commission examining the requests for participation, composed of members of the Organisational
Committee, will reach an incontestable decision regarding the admission of the collections and the attribution of
the exhibits. This Commission will grant no more than 84 sheets for each participant. 12 sheets will be granted for
“one panel classes”.
The Commission will make its decisions known before the Tuesday thirty July 2013.
The exhibitors who have their applications accepted will receive a letter of acceptance and a form for the
deﬁnitive entry which will specify the number of exhibits agreed.
Article 7
Participation is absolutely free.
Article 8
The material exhibited must be mounted on sheets of album, preferably of the “A4” format.
These sheets must be inserted in transparent protective envelopes of the same size.
To protect the interests of the exhibitors themselves, sheets not fulfilling this protective requirement will not be
exhibited.
Article 9

The collections to be exhibited must be sent by registered parcel posts or express courier and at the sender’s risk and liability
in order to reach the address below no later than Tuesday twenty Septembre 2013.

Should collections be delivered by hand, they shall be made available to the Organisal Committee on or before 12.00 hrs on
Thursday 28th
October 2013.
Article 10
The Organisational Committee will take all the necessary precautions to safeguard the objects entrusted to them. However,
the Committee declines any responsibility for theft, loss, damage or other damages to which the objects destined for
exhibition may be subject during their transportation. Fully comprehensive insurance cover is highly recommended for
transportation.
Article ll
Setting up of the collections will start at 15.00 hrs on Thursday the first November 2013 and will continue until 18.00 hrs of the
same day. None of the collections on display may be modiﬁed or retracted, even partially, before the closing of the Exhibition.
Dismantling will be carried out by the Organisational Committee after the Exhibition has closed.
Article 12
The panel of judges will be designated with the agreement of the General secretary of the “Massari” award, by the
Organisational Committee in accordance with the General Rules and Regulations governing the Awards.
Article 13
The prize will be offered by the CIFT. Other prizes, donated by the Institutions or Organisations may be awarded by the
Organisational Committee following agreement of the Panel of Judges.
The awards are:
The « Augusto Massari » Award, which will be granted by the CIFT for the best participation.
Certificate of gold medals, grand vermeil medals, vermeil, grand silver, silver, silvered bronze, bronze medals and involvement
medals.
Prizes offered by public authorities or another.
The awards will be handed over to attendees only Exhibitors who cannot be present may send representatives with written
orders to obtain the certificate and potential award-
Article 14
Collections belonging to members of the judging panel, students of the judges or their relations may be exhibited but will be
excluded from the competition.
Article 1 5
The Organizational Committee reserves the right to make any modiﬁcations to the Rules and Regulations held to be necessary.
Their decision with this regard is not open to appeal.
Article 16
Participation in the exhibition implies full acceptance of these rules.
Article 17
Any controversy will be arbitrated by the Court of Salon De Provence.
