9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
John 10:30
King James Version (KJV)
30 I and my Father are one.
John 5:19-20,22-24
New International Version (NIV)
19 Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. 20 For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed.
22 Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son, 23 that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him.
24 “Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.

This lesson on unity forms part of the Church Matters series and was taught by Forest Versele on 2nd May 2018 at the Birmingham International Church of Christ in Handsworth.
The Birmingham Church of Christ is an international gospel-centered and gospel-spreading congregation consisting of verious ministries throughout the West Midlands.
Ever thought the Christians couldn't care less? You're right! of course, WHAT they couldn't care less about might actually surprise you!
Take a look at Jesus' encounter with the Samaritan Woman at the Well. Jesus didn't care about her upbringing, past mistakes, or religious misconceptions. But he did care about her. Maybe it's time Christians quit caring so much about what doesn't matter and start caring about what really does--people's souls!

2. Gracious and merciful God, we pray that through the Holy Spirit all Catholics may
hear the call of the New Evangelization and seek a deeper relationship with your Son,
Jesus.
We pray that the New Evangelization will renew the Church, inspiring all Catholics
to “go forth and make disciples of all nations” and transform society through the
power of the Gospel.
We pray for all members of the Church, that we heed the words of Christ—“do not be
afraid”—and strengthened by the Holy Spirit’s gift of courage, give witness to the
Gospel and share our faith with others.
We pray that we may become like the father of the prodigal son—filled with
compassion for our missing brothers and sisters—and run to embrace them upon
their return.
We pray that all people yearning to know Christ and the Church may encounter him
through the faithful who witness to his love in their lives.
Loving God, our Father, strengthen us to become witnesses to the saving grace of
your Son, Jesus, our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy
Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
Amen.
3. “‘But you will receive power when the holy Spirit comes
upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem,
throughout Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the
earth.’ When he had said this, as they were looking on,
he was lifted up, and a cloud took him from their sight.
While they were looking intently at the sky as he was
going, suddenly two men dressed in white garments
stood beside them. They said, ‘Men of Galilee, why are
you standing there looking at the sky?’”
—Acts 1:8-11
