Cars are manufactured in several steps:
1. Sheets of metal are cut into various sizes and shapes then pressed into forms for car body parts like doors, trunks, and hoods.
2. The chassis is welded together and other necessary pieces are added.
3. The body parts are attached to the chassis and the whole structure is primed and painted.
4. Interior parts like seats, carpets, lights and controls are installed followed by mechanical parts like the engine and tires.
5. The car undergoes testing before being ready for sale.
