The children write to their parents that they need to discuss something serious for Christmas that is not about money, homework, rides, haircuts, or engagements. They were unsure what to get their parents until they thought of buying them tickets to see a show on December 19, 2008 in New York City by someone they think is incredible. The children sign off wishing their parents a Merry Christmas.

9. We thought about pots and pans for mom, ties and hedge trimmers for dad, but then we thought about this guy… And how incredible he is…

10. … and how much you two would enjoy seeing his show. So we bought you TICKETS to see him on December 19, 2008, in our very own NYC.
