The Hindu Students' Organization at Loyola University hosted a Diwali dinner event. Guest speakers Snehal Garg and Prachi Gandhi, both diligent students interested in medicine, spoke at the event. The evening included performances of a bhajan in honor of Krishna and a dance dedicated to the goddess Kamakshi. Diwali is a festival of lights celebrated by Hindus and non-Hindus that commemorates good overcoming evil.

port and protection to all. The bhajan signifies all that Krishna
does in reducing the troubles we face.
A reverent and devotional dance to Goddess Kamakshi. The
devotee awaits in anticipation to catch a glimpse of Kamakshi,
who will then bless the devotee by removing any obstacles in her
path.

festival of lights honoring the triumph of good over evil.
