2.  MARKET ANALYSIS:
 Key benchmark indices edged lower as world stocks fell as US budget negotiations were put on the
back burner on Sunday, 16 December 2012, as President Barack Obama visited grieving families in
Newtown, Conn., after the mass shooting at an elementary school on Friday, 14 December 2012.
 The BSE Sensex was down 72.48 points or 0.38% to 19,244.77.
 The S&P CNX Nifty was down 24.65 points or 0.42% to 5,854.95.
 From the 30-share Sensex pack, 16 stocks rose while rest of them fell.
 JSW Steel gained 3.1% after the company today, 17 December 2012, signed a joint agreement with
Japan's JFE Steel Corporation for the production of non-oriented electrical steel sheets at JSW Steel's
Karnataka plant. IT stocks fell US fiscal cliff worries. US is the biggest outsourcing market for the
Indian IT firms. India's third largest software services exporter by revenues Wipro declined
1.34%.India's largest software services exporter by revenues TCS declined 2.96%.
