The Growth… Rules   &  Regulations An organization was created to regulate the events and decide upon a champion
The Growth… Pit Crew Crew Chief Gas Can Man Tire Changer Jack Man Pit Crews were created to assist the driver  during a race
The Expansion… Teams Teams were created when one owner wanted to control multiple crews
The Expansion… Sponsors Sponsors were brought into the sport to aid the teams in race  costs
The Empire… Today NASCAR holds 17 of the top 20 attendance records for sporting events.
