Riyan Benny Sukmara is an Indonesian civil engineer and lecturer. He received his Diploma in Civil Engineering from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember in 2008-2011, followed by a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the same institution in 2011-2013. He then obtained his Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember in 2013-2015. Currently, he works as a lecturer at the Civil Engineering Department of Kalimantan Institute of Technology and coordinates the Soil Mechanics and Land Surveying Laboratory there. He has also worked on engineering projects and published papers on topics related to climate change, flood management, and
