Subject: application for an Erasmus Exchange
Dear Sirs
Through my Master Degree, I have been given the opportunity to apply for a six month
Erasmus Exchange. Having recently graduated with a Bachelor degree in Science Economics,
I am writing to be part of your Erasmus program in the BI Norwegian School program.
Particularly interested in entrepreneurship, I had the chance 5 years ago, to be part of an
amazing project which consisted in creating and developing your own company during which
we created a bottle opener belt. This first experience convinced me to develop, one day, my
own business but I still need to gain more experience and knowledge as proposed in your
university.
Moreover, integrating BI Norwegian school would be for me a great opportunity to put
more into practice my skills acquired over the past three years at University or during interships
such as Finance, launching new projects and management.
My previous work experiences, from a lumberjack to developing new projects, have
allowed me to improve my relational skills such as listening and satisfying customers’ needs,
as well as working under pressure to achieve the goals set.
Furthermore, thanks to my education and family environment with two freelancer’s
parents, I am lucky to have the opportunity to be flexible and open-minded and therefore adapt
to any situation. The fact of having travelled and studied for one year in a foreign environment
has allowed me to discover new cultures and ways of life, develop a sense of responsibility,
priorities as well as team building. I
In addition, your country is full of amazing landscapes and biodiversity, as a fan of
skiing this would be paradise.
I am looking forward hearing from you, with hopes that my application will hold your
attention, please accept my best regards.
Yours faithfully
Louis-Guy du Bois
