I am writing to express my interest for a vacant position of doctor of veterinary medicine (DVM) in your
esteemed company/organization. As far as my educational qualification is concerned, I have achieved doctor of
veterinary medicine (DVM) from Hawassa University, Ethiopia, East Africa in 2006 with c GPA of 3.86. With
respect to my educational background I have multidisciplinary trainings in the areas of animal health and/or
production, livestock development, veterinary public health and epidemiology and gained a firm foundation in
the above mentioned areas of study. Specifically, I got involved in questionnaire survey and sample collection in
the urban and peri-urban areas of Adama, central Ethiopia during my DVM thesis (research) work-up on the
specific title “urban and peri-urban livestock production in and around Adama, central, Ethiopia: Its public and
Environmental health aspects” and I scored an outstanding result (A) after I was examined with External Board
of Examiners.
Regarding to work experience I have a 7 month work experiences in Addis Ababa capital city of Ethiopia in
Addis ketema sub city administration warada 4 as urban agriculture officer and I have got experiences in giving
training and advice for farmers on animal production, farm management, animal health, animal feed, market
value chain and other animal farm related activity. Now I am working in alema koudijs feed plc as sales
representative and farm advisor since august 2015. My job is focus on the area of giving training for farmers
and other stakeholders on animal health, animal feed and over all farm management, preparation of manuals and
guide lines about overall farm management and production of beef, dairy and poultry farms, market finding and
assessment for company, making business agreement with different stake holders, participating different
meetings facilitated by NGOS, associations, government body and other organization and other related activity.
I had experiences of following some beef farms around adama area.
Based on the above mentioned facts, it is my confidence that I would be an asset to your company/organization.
