• Reservoir engineering work on Sleipner (reservoir team leader). Prepared input to
the commercial study of the Sleipner Field. Participated in the Sleipner unitization.
• Coordinated the reservoir engineering work on Tromsøflaket, member of the
technical and management committees in these licenses.
Statoil Netherlands, from 1985 - 1987.
• Participating in building up Statoils new office in the Netherlands. Worked on
general reservoir engineering projects. Carried out a reservoir simulation study of
the Kotter Field. Member of acquisition teams in Statoil Netherlands. Member of
reservoir management and tecnical committees.
Statoil Reservoir Technology Section (Statoil Main Office) 1987.
• Team leader of the reservoir engineering team that prepared for take-over of the
Statfjord Field operator-ship from Mobil. An important task was to build the
Statfjord reservoir simulation (full field model).

• Petroleum engineering work on Valhall (Amoco operator), Tor and Hod chalk
fields.
• Budget coordinator for Amoco Engineering Department for a period of one year.
• Participated in Amoco's Project Task Force for increasing the Valhall production
(soft chalk problems).
• Coordinated Amoco's technical assistant work for Saga Petroleum on block 34/4.
• Presentations to banks related to the financing of projects in Norway.
• Coordinated research projects with SINTEF and Amoco's head office, Tulsa.
• Presentations to Amoco's Main Office and to the Amoco London office.

• Reservoir engineering work on Ekofisk, West-Ekofisk, Albuskjell, Valhall, Cod,
Edda, Tor, Sleipner, Statfjord, and Murchison fields. Most of my time was spent
4. following up the Ekofisk Field, preparing production profiles, attending technical
committee meetings and coordinating with Ministry of Oil and Energy (OED).
• Coordinated IOR research and contact between NPD and several research groups.
(CMI on uncertainty evaluation, Chalk Research project, etc).
• Worked on rules and regulations in the oil industry.
• Worked on NPD publications (Yearly Report, now named Norsk Sokkel).
