Beatriz Manotas-Hidalgo is a lecturer at the Department of Economics at the Public University of Navarre in Spain. She received her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Economics from UPNA and is currently a PhD candidate. Her research focuses on the relationship between globalization and civil war. She has published papers on this topic and presented her research at several international conferences. In addition to teaching, she has held fellowships and research grants related to her work analyzing public expenditures and economic development.
