Ronald Reagan, who was his father’s
favourite actor, he grew up poor and
playing with a soft drink can.

Ronaldo joined the other young players of Sporting Clube de Portugal
and managed to become the only player to play in Sporting’s Under-16, Under
17, Under-18, B Team and Main Team, all in only one season.
When he was 15 years old, Ronaldo was diagnosed a heart problem, which
could have made him give up playing football.
He was operated and the problem was solved.

Ronaldo’s early talent called the
attention of Sir Alex Ferguson,
