This document contains two parts describing linear equations. Part 1 defines the slope m as 1/3 and the point P as (0,7). It then derives the equation 3y - 21 = x from the slope-intercept form. Part 2 finds the slope m as 1/7 by calculating the rise over run between two points. It then isolates y and writes the equation in slope-intercept form as y = x/7 + 38/7.
